Daili (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the personal productivity platform available at dailiapp.co (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using Daili, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you register.
  • User content: todos, notes, habits, finances, CV data, gym routines, and any other content you create within the Service.
  • Profile data: optional profile information such as your professional history used in the CV builder.
  • Communications: messages you send us via email or support channels.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, click events, and session duration.
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and timezone.
  • Cookies and local storage: used to maintain sessions, remember preferences (e.g., dark mode), and analyze usage patterns.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Google integrations: if you connect Google Calendar, Gmail, or Drive, we access only the data necessary to display those integrations within the app. We do not store Google data on our servers beyond the active session.
  • Payment processors: subscription billing is handled by third-party processors. We do not store your full card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • Sync your data across devices in real time.
  • Process subscription payments and send billing notices.
  • Send transactional emails (account creation, password reset).
  • Analyze aggregate usage to improve features and performance.
  • Respond to your support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal content (todos, notes, etc.) to train AI models.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement access controls and follow security best practices to protect your information.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@dailiapp.co.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: request that we correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: request that we delete your personal data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection / Restriction: object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions, and optional analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how users interact with the app. You may disable analytics cookies via your browser settings without affecting core functionality.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties.

9. Children's Privacy

Daili is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Daili operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses) for any cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
